John Nail's 2003 Buck

- Shot this buck at 7:30 this morning. He ran 1/2 mile
and fell dead in the river. Floated another 1/2 mile. I was totally
exhausted by the time I got him to where I could get the truck, and then
promptly got it stuck! Bent the bumper getting pulled out. Fortunately the
old S-10 ain't worth much. I shot the deer from
the ground at 12 yards, Supershrew bow, while
wearing my "Ghillie suit" He never
knew I was there. I am one tired archer.(but happy)
