2008
RENDEZVOUS SHOOTS
March
15th-16th, 2008
April 12th-13th, 2008
Join the Little Wind Archers for WSAA registered, 2, 2 day 3-D archery tournaments March 15th-16th, 2008 and April 12th-13th, 2008, in a place with a magical historical past. You'll be "hunting foam" with us on ground at the confluence of the Big and Little Wind Rivers, near what is now present-day Riverton, Wyoming. This is the very same historical ground where the actual 1838 Mountain Man Rendezvous was held.
These two day tournaments are perfect time to bring the whole family and learn more about bowhunting, archery and 3-D archery, as this is going to be the Little Wind Archers' first 2 3-D shoots of 2008, where you can come to these tournaments, find out more about who we are, what we do as a club, and, how much fun archery tournaments can be. If you've got a bow, bring it with you, and have some fun shooting with others. For those who don't know what "foam hunting" (3-D archery) is all about, there is a good article on what the tournaments are like, at the graphical link below.
We'll be shooting at unmarked yardage targets. There will be 20 targets x 2-rounds at different stakes for a total of 40 shots. Field points only. No Broadheads, rangefinders, draw-locks or crossbows will be allowed at this tournament. Binoculars are Ok.
